Meet the Photographer

Hi, my name is Brooke Louise!

It is with tremendous honor and excitement that I officially announce my appointment as the @usaworkingequitation Official Photographer for the U.S.A. Team at the WAWE Championships in Spain. 🇺🇸🇪🇸

This title, and the trust it comes with does not come lightly!

Since 2021, I have immersed myself in the beautiful sport of Working Equitation and, just as importantly, in the incredible community that surrounds it. What began as an opportunity to photograph a sport I was quickly falling in love with has grown into friendships, partnerships, and a journey that has taken me farther than I ever imagined.

I am incredibly grateful to the riders, competition organizers, board members, trainers, owners, and supporters who have trusted me with their horses, their stories, and their memories, and who have given me the opportunity to create art along the way.

To now travel to Spain with the team is an incredible honor. 🇺🇸

Not only will I have the privilege of capturing our amazing American team on the world stage, but I will also have the opportunity to document the experience for everyone back home, to bring you along through the photographs, videos, and stories that make this journey so special.

I am honored, excited and incredibly grateful.

With this trip to Spain unfolding before me, preparing for the journey has also brought the reality of the financial commitment into focus. USAWE has generously contributed toward some of my travel expenses, for which I am incredibly grateful, but this is not a paid position or a paid trip for me. There are still many costs associated with making this opportunity possible, including unexpected expenses that come with traveling internationally and stepping away from my normal workload. I will also be taking more than a week away from my business without the income I would normally earn during that time. It is a sacrifice I am willingly making for an opportunity that means so much to me, but one that does come with a very real financial impact. I am simply grateful for the support that has already been given and for anyone who chooses to help make this incredible journey possible. Every bit of support helps me focus on what I am going to Spain to do: represent our team, capture these moments, and bring the experience home to all of you.
